Happy Tuesday, angels! I hope your weekend was fantastic. I just got back to Boston for my last Orientation! I can’t believe how fast my time at Emerson has gone. I feel so old. I’m excited to start getting back into the swing of this school year. I miss being busy and seeing all the people I love!

This look is another simple one featuring a top I don’t wear enough! I got it from my cousins, and it looks so great with my bralette. It’s another top that I can wear differently depending on how I drape it. It’s made of pretty thin material, so this is a great top for these hotter days.

I wore my black shorts and black Converse, and let my hair down. I also wore Killer Queen, one of my favorite fragrances from Katy Perry, and my wood sunglasses.

How did you spend your weekend? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Tuesday, angels! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I got to see some of my sorority sisters on Sunday! Our Vice President was sweet enough to have a barbecue for us. We had so much fun! My heart is so full when I spend time with them. I’m so lucky to have them.

So here’s a sorority look! I haven’t worn this tank in a while! It’s hand-washable, and I only do those every now and then #adultingproblems. But I’m so happy I got around to washing it because it’s really one of my favorites. I used to be a cheerleader, and we used to cheer at Emerson’s basketball games, so I got it in Emerson’s colors, purple and white. I’m actually super lucky I didn’t get it in purple and yellow or gold, which used to be Emerson’s colors. They rebranded to purple, white, and warm grey/silver. I have so many feelings about it but I will spare you.

Anyway! This jersey looks great with my black lace bralette. We have a little ~French tuck~ action happening here (Queer Eye fans ;) ). I didn’t even know that what I was doing was a ~thing~ until I started watching Queer Eye! For those of you who don’t watch (you’re missing out!) Tan, the fashion guardian angel, often suggests a French tuck, which is basically when you tuck in your shirt tightly, then loosen it up so it hangs over your waistline a bit. I love doing it with most of my tanks and my denim shorts.

I topped off the look with my black Converse and a super high bun. I was torn between black and white Converse because of the letters, but I went with the black because I figured it accented them better.

What’s a piece of sorority merch you’ve been dying to get? Let me know in the comments!

summertime sadness

flannel (no clue, sorry!). tank. shorts. sneakers. sunglasses (mine are lighter!). perfume.

Happy Tuesday, my angels! I hope your weekend was full of fun times and sunshine. It’s really hitting me that summer is coming to an end soon, and I’m getting super sad! I want time to slow down for a bit so I can take it all in, but I know that good things are coming.

Here’s a relatively basic look that I actually wore to a party last weekend! It was super chill, so I wanted to be casual but cute. As I’ve mentioned many times, I love this tank so much! I wore my denim shorts and my favorite blue flannel as well. I love the way the blues complement each other.

I topped this simple look off with my black Converse, and that’s honestly all I have to say! I hate keeping things short, but I feel like this casual look speaks for itself. And to be honest, I’m super proud of this flatlay.

What’s one thing you still need to do before summer ends? Let me know in the comments!

maroon monday

tank (no longer being sold by Urban Outfitters). bralette. shorts. sneakers. perfume.

Happy Monday! It’s a brand new week full of endless possibilities! I had an awesome weekend and just watched this awesome Ted Talk so I’m in a fantastic mood. I woke up this morning feeling tired and lazy and not wanting to talk to or look at anyone, but sometimes you just gotta push yourself and things will work out.

This is one of my favorite tops that I don’t wear as often anymore! I used to wear it alllll the time last year. I love the color especially, but the unique cut of it is so cool and different. You can’t really tell in these pictures, but the straps of the tank knot in the back so the back is basically fully open. I always wear my bralette with this top because it just looks so cool.

I also love this top because you can wear it any way. I wore this exact outfit to a party a couple weekends ago, but when I took this picture I was wearing it for a normal day. It’s perfect for the hot weather.

I’ve styled it so many different ways since I got it, but this particular time, I just went with my jean shorts and black Converse. Once again, I went makeupless because it was hotter than hell, and put my messy hair into a cute half-up-half-down thing. Don’t you love humidity?

How was your weekend?! Let me know in the comments!

black, white, & blue

Happy 4th of July! I’m not too big of a fan of my country this year, but I am a fan of sparklers and fireworks. This is my first 4th of July in Boston, so I’m excited to see how Bostonians celebrate!

This is one of my favorite tanks that I’ve been sort of obsessed with lately. I don’t have to wear a bra with it, it’s relatively lightweight, and goes with everything! I wore it with my blue jeans to keep things simple and basic.

As a perceptive human being, I pay attention to everyone’s outfits as I go about my day. I’ve seen a lot of people wearing all black with white shoes lately, and I’m a fan. I was originally going to wear my black Converse, but I think my white ones definitely look better.

I left my hair down and went makeupless again, since it's just so hot! I think this is Mother Earth’s way of getting back at me for complaining so much when it was cold. I get it now, okay?! I even took a cold shower, which is insanely out of the ordinary for me.

Do you like the hot or cold more? Let me know in the comments!
