Gamma in Pajamas

KristenComment

It’s your friendly neighborhood Gamma in pajamas! I meant to post this Sorority Sunday a while ago. One of Xi Gamma Nu’s recruitment events was called Gammas in Pajamas, which was when our potential new members participated in sister speed dating with us… in their pajamas. It was super fun.

I love posting pajama looks! Whenever I have an event that I need ~slumber attire~ for, I almost always wear this onesie. I love Dr. Seuss, so I love the Things. Their heads jump when I run around! Later, I wore this walking through the Boston Garden. That was an experience.

I figured I would also leave these here...

How Brazilliant

Beauty, Beauty Review, Cruelty-FreeKristenComment

Lush. My dream. The reason I wake up every morning. The place I’ve never actually purchased anything from… until now. My best friend bought me a couple bath bombs from Lush, but I haven't used them yet. Every time I go to Lush, I see a bunch of cool things I wanna buy, but never actually buy anything.

Since I’ve been journeying into the land of the Cruelty-Free, I decided to actually buy something from Lush. My hair has been super dry and annoying lately, so with the help of a lovely sales associate, I chose this shampoo bar that’s great for thick, frizzy, dry hair. It's called Brazilliant.

I had never used a shampoo bar before, but once the woman in the store demonstrated it, I was immediately hooked. It smelled so delicious and citrusy, and it lasts for 60 washes! I think that's amazing. I also bought a cute little tin for my bar to reside in while I'm not using it.

When I used it in the shower, at first I was a little confused. I rubbed it in my hands and used it directly on my hair at first, which worked well. The second time I used it, the bar was stuck to the bottom of its tin, so I just rubbed it right on my head. To be honest, it kind of tangled my hair in the shower and made it difficult to brush while I was in there. It went away when I used my conditioner though.

As for my hair when it's dry, I've definitely noticed that it's more bouncy and less tangled. It's also more silky and less frizzy, which I really like. I would love to purchase a conditioner to keep my shampoo company.

Trashcan Day

KristenComment

Flannel (no longer being sold at Eddie Bauer). Leggings (similar). Tank Top (it's basic af, you can get it anywhere). Moccasins. Sunglasses (similar).

My sorority twin has something that she calls Trashcan Day, which is when she goes to class in what she slept in, puts on a hat and glasses, and doesn’t shower. I woke up and really did not feel like being a person, so I had my own Trashcan Day of sorts. I showered, but instead of putting pajamas on, I put on things that felt like pajamas.

Leggings are fabulous for every occasion. My moccasins are basically slippers. Tank tops and flannels are comfy. I was so comfortable. All day, I felt like I was cozy in bed. I threw my hair in a bun because no one gives a shit.

I also didn’t put makeup on, and it was so great to give my skin a bit of a breather. I was actually able to rub my eyes in class, which was honestly amazing.

What Season Is It? Fall Edition!

Vest. Sweater (similar). Jeans. Boots (no longer being sold at Primark). Sunglasses (similar).

It’s that time of year: when the weather is so crazy I deny that it’s changing. Yup, that means that even though it’s getting colder, I’ll still be wearing crop tops and dealing with it. Today was one of those days! I just got this cropped sweater back home the other day, and I’ve been dying to wear it. It’s my first cropped sweater ever, and it makes my boobs look amazing.

I wore my vest over it so I seemed a little bit fall (and when it got super cold later I put on my varsity jacket too) and my black jeans. I haven’t worn jeans in forever. I also wore my boots, so I guess I was fall in everything but my top.

My hair was still a little frizzy, but I don’t think I’ve worn it completely down in a while, so that was nice. My makeup was light, and my jewelry was kind of normal. It was my first time not wearing my choker for a while, too. It felt so weird!

Maybe eventually I’ll learn my lesson that I need to start wearing more layers. It’ll probably be a really rude awakening. Usually it happens after Halloween.

Sex Panther

Top (no longer being sold at Urban Outfitters). Bralette. Jeans. Boots (no longer being sold at Call It Spring).

I think everyone has that one outfit where they feel absolutely bangin’. Well, this is that outfit for me. When I don’t know what to wear, if I feel yucky or sad, I wear this outfit. It makes me feel so sexy all by myself.

I start off with this maroon shirt that’s barely a shirt. It’s more of a cover for my boobs, as is my bralette, which is clearly displayed both in the back and sometimes the front, depending on how low I wear the neckline. When I pull it up, it still looks cute. When I leave the neckline down, you get to see more of my bralette and I feel like a sex panther.

Because I want to feel even more sexy, I wear these leggings, which are hot enough because they’re jet black, but they’re also high-waisted, and they make my ass look amazing, which you can clearly see since the shirt doesn’t cover my butt. Like at all. Sometimes, I’ll wear it with jeans, which also looks super cute.

Here, I’m wearing my heeled boots, which always make me feel like I can take over the world. In my opinion, they look the best, but I usually don’t wear them if I’m going to a party or something (and this is a perfect party outfit). It looks great with sneakers, boots, and even moccasins.

I try to make my makeup super intense on these days with super long lashes. I usually wear my hair half-up-half-down too, with my choker. I seriously feel so amazing when I’m wearing this outfit.
