Throwback Tuesday

KristenComment

Sneakers. Shirt. Leggings (similar).

Throwback Tuesday? Is that a thing? Let's make it a thing.

I wore this a whiiiiiiile ago, but I really love it! As you guys know, I'm a big fan of wearing two different shoes because why not? I think what I like about how I wear them here is that the only colors in my outfit are black and white (with the exception of the waist of my leggings, but my shirt covers it so shhhh). I think it makes it a lot more color block-y, which I absolutely love.

My hair is wavy and undone, which I think looks pretty cool considering this is a casual look. I'm also not wearing makeup. My jewelry is relatively normal, with my choker and some colorful Pura Vidas. I need to wear this look again soon!

Cruelty-Free BB Cream!

Beauty, Beauty Review, Cruelty-FreeKristenComment

Okay, so I’ve never used a BB Cream before, but I’ve been wanting to for a while. I remember when it first came out and everyone thought it was a literal miracle product. Since I ran out of foundation, I decided to give this BB cream a try while I was home for a weekend.

What I’m Using: e.l.f. BB Cream SPF 20 (in Fair)

For the most part, I really liked it! I think I was expecting for it to be more of a foundation, but it wasn’t and that’s fine. The formula was much thinner than a foundation. It really made my skin glow. I think this is perfect for when I wanna look a little more put together, but not completely done up. The BB Cream has sunscreen in it too, which is always a bonus since I am the sunscreen queen. I did notice that it wears off under my eyes very easily, and the formula is a little more oily than I’m used to since I usually wear matte foundation.

I would definitely recommend this cream to anyone who is looking for a BB cream. I'll be using this a lot more in the future.

Sorority Sunday!

KristenComment

Sweatshirt. Leggings. Boots (no longer being sold at Primark). Vest

It’s the first Sorority Sunday of 2017! Gamma was by far one of the best parts of my 2016, and something I’m so happy to begin my 2017 with. I just got this sweatshirt for Christmas, and it’s so comfy! I haven’t taken it off. I wore my puffer vest over this since it’s a little too chilly to just wear a sweatshirt. I wore this with my leggings and boots for a typical Clunkster look.

In this photo, my hair and makeup are done, but this has also been my lazy Winter Break uniform. I just can’t get over how comfortable I am in this!

Under Eye Concealer Review

Beauty, Beauty Review, Cruelty-FreeKristenComment

What happens when I run out of makeup? I buy more, except it’s usually different so I can review it.

What I Was Using: e.l.f. Complete Coverage Concealer (in Light)

What I’m Using Now: NYX Dark Circle Concealer

I really only use concealer for under my eyes, since I’m Italian and perpetually exhausted. I don’t really care about covering the other unflattering areas of my face. My e.l.f. concealer is awesome, but when I found this NYX concealer that’s made especially for under the eyes, I decided to give it a try.

At first, I was a little skeptical since I was confused as to how this concealer would be better for under my eyes than another one. When I opened the little thingy, the color was way darker than I expected, which kind of scared me. When I put it on my face, it still looked super dark, but once I stepped back it looked great and covered my circles almost completely. It lasted pretty well throughout the day too! I’m so happy I found this.

This works with my regular foundation and my BB cream too! I’ve also started wiping off the excess on my brush onto tiny zits, and they’re covered almost completely, so that’s a bonus.

Everyone tells me about how great NYX is, and after trying this, I could understand why. I would definitely love to try more NYX products in the future.

Wear the World Wednesday: PJ Edition!

KristenComment

Shirt. Leggings (no clue). Sweater (no longer being sold at The Gap). Socks (no clue omg I'm sorry).

Iiiiiiit’s Wear the World Wednesday! My Serengetee shirt is so comfortable, I usually wear it to bed after I wear it for the day. You all know how quirky I like to get with my pajamas. Here, I have a multitude of patterns: my sharky Serengetee pocket, my candy corn leggings, and my purple and white striped socks.

Let me tell you, this was so comfy to sleep in, especially with my super slouchy comfy sweater. This was just so so comfy. I love pajamas.
