Happy Thanksgiving!

KristenComment

I'm sorry, I don't know what my face is doing either...

Leggings. Shirt and Boots (no longer being sold at Primark).

Hey all! So sorry for basically falling off the grid these past two weeks. I’m super involved in school stuff, which obviously always comes first, and then I prioritize taking care of myself instead of keeping up with the blog. Hopefully, I’ll be up and running at a normal rate soon!

Anyway, happy Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for clothes, especially these leggings that I wear literally all the damn time. These are the only pants I brought home for Thanksgiving break. I paired these lovely pants with this adorable shirt I got a little while ago that I’m absolutely obsessed with. I thought it was the perfect fall color.

To top (bottom?) it all off, I wore my clunky workboots that I’ve worn for basically a month straight (with my leggings…). I really, really love this look, and I look forward to wearing it a lot more throughout the rest of the fall!
As far as other things go, I made my hair super straight. My makeup also looked better than usual today, which I really enjoyed. My jewelry was also normal. I just realized that this entire outfit is pure Primark.

Lazy Days

Tank (no longer being sold through Halsey's store). Bralette. Pants (no clue I'm so sorry).

Hey y’all! Sorry for the lack of posting lately. I just had a CRAZY couple weeks between schoolwork, my sorority, and a bunch of other things. But, I’m back, and I’m ready to keep posting new looks!

To commemorate the fact that I’ve been just a bit lazy with my posting, I decided to come back with a pajama look. I love posting pajama looks because you guys get to see what I’m like even when I’m not super made up. And let’s be honest, getting ready for bed is an art in itself.

For tonight’s ensemble, I decided to wear my Badlands shirt from the Halsey concert. I wore my bralette under it so I don’t accidentally flash anyone before I go to sleep. This bralette is actually super comfy to sleep in! Every now and then I wear it without a shirt.

Since my room has been a bit chilly lately, I went with pants instead of shorts. These pants are super comfy, even if they are a little tight. Obviously, since I’m going to sleep, I don’t have shoes or makeup on, but my hair is in a pony in this photo, which is cool since I haven’t worn my hair like that in a while.

Sweet dreams!

Welcome to the Jungle

Guess what guys? I went back to Lush. I went back and bought a conditioner bar. And I am never looking back. Today, I was introduced to Jungle.

The reasoning behind this conditioner is simple: it keeps my hair looking super smooth with minimal frizz. Pretty much the same as my reasoning for getting my Brazilliant shampoo bar.

Also though, this bar smells like the beach. Like, literally. It's made with avocados and figs and a bunch of other fruity stuff, but holy balls, it literally smells like the beach. I smell like I've just emerged from salt water.

On top of the fact that it basically gives me an orgasm almost every time I get a whiff of this thing, it actually works really well! It keeps my hair less frizzy, more silky, and super smooth.

I am seriously so happy with the products I've bought from Lush. I'll definitely be buying many more!

Wear the World... Thursday?

KristenComment

Yesterday was Wear the World Wednesday, but I was too busy to post yesterday, so I guess it’s Wear the World Thursday! This is my first post with one of my Serengetee items. I think I’ve posted this shirt on my Instagram before, but here’s an actual look to go with it.
I’ve told you all about what Serengetee is, but I figured I’d remind you all in relation to this shirt. Serengetee has a ton of fabrics and patterns that come from different areas of the world. This one, called Rio, is from Brazil! Every fabric also has a charity from that region attached to it. This fabric provides microloans to women entrepreneurs in Brazil, which I think is super cool. Whatever fabric you choose can be made into basically anything: hats, backpacks, bags, shirts, and more.

This shirt is one of the most comfy things I have ever put on my body. I felt like I was in a constant cuddle while I was wearing this. It’s perfect for a lazy day like this one! I wore it with my comfy leggings and my moccasins, since they’re basically like slippers. I threw on a hat because my hair looked like absolute shit. I was so comfortable today, holy shit.

Be sure to Follow Serengetee on Instagram!

Autumn of the Bodysuit

KristenComment

Bodysuit. Skirt (different color). Heels (similar). Sunglasses (similar).

I’ve been wanting to get a bodysuit for a while. I was so excited when they came back in because they remind me of the 80s, which I love, and they remind me of my ballet days. I kept meaning to buy a bunch, because I kept wanting to wear them to parties. So, I finally bought one when I shopping last weekend. I bought it with this skirt in mind.

I love the way this stays perfectly tucked into my skirt. We all know how important it is for me to have a beautiful tuck. And it has snaps so I don’t have to get naked every time I pee! I would love to wear it with so many more outfits. Guys, I think this fall is gonna be the Autumn of the Bodysuit.

At the same time that I bought the bodysuit, I bought these killer heels! I’ve been wanting to get black heeled boots for the longest time. These called to me in the store. To be honest, even though I looked and felt bangin’, these were sooooo high. Of course, I chose to break them in on the day I needed to run all around campus in fifteen minutes right before class, so that wasn’t a great experience. But I wanna wear them more! I switched them out for black Converse later in the day.

When I got cold, I wore my Clunkster Grey Sweater, and I thought it looked pretty cute. I loved how straight my hair was, and I liked how my makeup turned out too! I felt comfy and cute all day.
