Shirt. Leggings (similar). Sneakers. Glasses (mine are lighter).

Hello! I’m back with another look! So sorry about the lack of postage lately, life has just been a bit crazy. Hopefully I’ll get things back on track soon.

Today, I went to an amusement park with my baby cousins! It was super fun, but they seriously tired me out. I wanted to wear shorts, but to be honest, I didn’t shave my legs, and I thought that the seats of the rides would burn my butt. So, I went with cropped leggings since it was still hot. I’m happy with my choice!

This is one of my favorite shirts. It’s so light and comfortable. It’s actually a boys’ shirt! As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a huge fan of gender-swapping with clothing. I tend to like boys clothing a bit more because it’s not as tailored. Sure, sometimes I love a tee that hugs my curves and shows off my body, but other times I want something to just wear. Boys clothes are cheaper (which is completely sexist but w/e) and they just fit me better. This shirt is so soft.

I wore my black Converse because I wanted to be able to run around and not have my shoes fall off on rides. I kept my makeup light and my jewelry normal! I went with my wood-ish sunglasses because they just looked good with everything.

My hair was all straight and cute at the beginning of the day, but as we went on more water rides, it got wet and then got frizzy. So much for all that straightening! It was totally worth it though.

Cruelty-Free Makeup Review!

Beauty, Beauty Review, Cruelty-FreeKristenComment

Your friendly cruelty-free blogger is back with another review! I haven’t done one of these in a while, so I’m super excited to share my findings with you guys. You know how excited I get about my cruelty-free makeup.

What I Was Using: e.l.f. Concealer and Highlighter (in Glow/Fair)

What I Use Now: e.l.f. Complete Coverage Concealer (in Light)

Okay, so I actually had no problem with the concealer I was using before. It was doing the job just fine, I was just running out so I headed to the e.l.f. store to grab some more. I was a huge fan of the highlighter too, which I’ve never used before! I loved how this concealer was made specifically for under the eye.

Anyway, I couldn’t find the concealer in the store so I asked someone to help me. She asked me if I had a problem with what I was using now, and I said no, even though it was a little light, as in texture-wise. It was thin. She showed me a concealer stick and this palette. She put both on my eyes and I decided that I liked the Complete Coverage Concealer better! First of all, it’s only $3, and it’s actually a bunch of shades instead of just one. It’s meant for when your skin changes through the seasons, but she explained to me that it could also be used to contour, which I do wanna play around with one time.

So obviously it looked great, but can we please talk about how well it worked? I mentioned in previous posts that my undereyes always bleed a bit no matter what setting spray I use, but it turns out it may have just been my concealer. Since this one is a lot more creamy than the other one, it really stuck to my face. This also matches my face a little bit more, and I save makeup because since it covers so well, I don’t have to use as much foundation.

Overall, I’m so amazed at how well this is working, especially since it’s so cheap! e.l.f. never fails to impress me.

Short Skirt / Long Jacket

Typical Clunky Selfie Face

Skirt (different color). Tank top (basic, sold anywhere!). Sweater (no longer being sold at The Gap). Sneakers. Sunglasses (similar).

Jesus Lord y’all, I am in love with today’s look. When I went to Pacsun a little while ago, I saw this jean skirt and got super excited because I've been looking for a good jean skirt FOREVER and haven't found one that looks good on me. Guys, this is The One. It's literally perfect. Just short enough, hugs my hips perfectly... and today I got to take it out on its maiden voyage.

Sure, I should probably get a bodysuit to go under this, but right now I have a black tank top that I can tuck in, so that works! In typical Clunkster fashion, I also wore a long sweater.

This look would be like beyond perfect if I wore these heels I picked out, but since I was doing a lot of walking today, I decided on my white Converse. They actually look super cute though! I also wore my round sunglasses, lighter than usual makeup, and normal jewelry.

If you couldn't tell, I really love this look. I'm so excited to experiment with this skirt more!

Vans vs. Converse

Top (no longer being sold at Vans). BraletteShorts (mine are lighter). Sneakers. Sunglasses (similar).

Okay, yes, I wear this bralette too much. But if you had it, you’d wear it all the time too. Trust me. It’s super comfy and looks adorable. You should get one.

Over my bralette, I wore this cute croppy top thing I got from Vans. I love how elegant it is while also being a bit edgy. Logically, I wore Converse with my Vans shirt. Oops! The only Vans I have are weird looking and don’t go with anything. I purposely matched my sneakers to my bralette! Always back to the bralette.

The off-white of the shirt looks really great with the type of green in my shorts, which you wouldn’t expect usually. I kept my jewelry and makeup simple. This whole look is relatively simple with little touches that take it up a notch.

It’s so cute, the photos can speak for themselves. Or I’m just really tired. You take a guess!

Return of the Kimono

KristenComment

My favorite piece of outerwear is back! I haven’t worn this kimono in forever. I definitely need to wear it more often. Sometimes, I feel as if I don’t give my wardrobe enough love.

Today, my favorite crop top got to play with my kimono. I love the way they look together! Since it was kinda hot today, I chose to wear my crappy shorts instead of my jeans. At first I was going to wear my black Converse, but as usual, I changed my mind and went with white. I definitely think this looks better.

Jewelry was simple today, as well as makeup! What a surprise. I also wore my rounded glasses again, because when do I not?

Typical Clunky, getting overexcited about her outfits in real life but unable to put that energy into a long post. Tsk, tsk. But who even reads this blog?
