FIFTY SHADES: Top. Flannel (no longer being sold by Eddie Bauer). Shorts. Sneakers.

You know when you buy something, and you immediately picture all the ways you're gonna wear it? That's how I felt when I saw this sweater tank top thing. I had been seeing similar tops on Pinterest for the longest time, and I was so happy when I finally found this one at American Eagle. I knew that I wanted to tuck it in and wear it with some cute jean shorts and a flannel.

I've styled this top in many ways (which you'll all see soon, hehehe), and this one happened to have lots of shades of grey and black. It's very true to my aesthetic, in my opinion.

The other day I went shopping with my mom and bought a ton of new pieces, and I'm so excited for them to make lots of appearances on The Clunkster! Happy Summer, loves.

Young Working Professional

Blazer (no longer being sold by Mystique Boutique NYC). Top (similar). Pants. Sandals (no longer being sold by Payless). Sunglasses.

The other day, I went on an internship interview, and I knew that I needed to dress like a boss ass bitch. It turns out that I was way overdressed for the interview (but in my opinion that's better than being underdressed), but either way I still felt like a boss ass bitch. I kept ironically referring to myself as a Young Working Professional.

I knew that I wanted to start with this blazer that I bought a while ago, but still haven't worn. I used to have a blazer but it was a little less professional and more fun, so I'm happy I was able to upgrade! Usually I wore that blazer with this peplum top since it's equal parts flirty and professional. I love the way it flows with the bottom of the blazer. I wore my black jeans since they're the closest I have to actual nice black dress pants (I know, I'm wearing actual pants!!!). I topped this look off with my shiny silver sandals.

Overall, I felt like a true boss ass bitch in this outfit. I straightened my hair, did a really good job on my makeup, and just felt really put together and ready to kick some ass, which is all that matters.

Lazy Thursday

Shirt. Bralette. Sweatpants (no longer being sold by University of Hartford).

Happy Lazy Thursday! I haven't done one of these in a while. I guess this is also kind of a Throwback Thursday since this was from when I was still at school in my old room :(

This is a chill outfit that I used to wear a lot. It features a Serengetee top (of course), my bralette (because when don't I wear my bralette?) and these hand-me-down UHartford sweatpants I got from my cousins a while ago. I really liked them because I have a couple close friends that live near Hartford, and they're super comfortable.

This look was perfect for when I was just chilling doing homework in my room, but also for when I got hungry and ran downstairs to the C-Store to get some Reese's. Then, I'd fall asleep, feeling like I was laying in a pool of comfort. I miss school.

Wear the World Wednesday

KristenComment

Top. Leggings. Flannel (no longer being sold at Eddie Bauer). Boots (no longer being sold at Primark). Bralette. Sunglasses (similar, mine are lighter).

It's Wear the World Wednesday! Here's another one of the crop tops I got for Christmas. I've always wanted a Hawaiian shirt, and even though I still don't have one, I do have a Hawaiian pocket! I can't wait to wear this to a luau party. These crop tops look ADORABLE with my bralette. I'd love to wear them with bandeaus one day too! I also love the way these high waisted leggings kinda disappear under my top.

Adding the flannel and boots definitely made this look a bit edgier. At first I didn't think that mixing the Hawaiian and flannel prints would look good, but I tried it anyway, and it looked really cool! I always say I'll experiment with more prints and I never do.

Off the Wall

Outfit of the DayKristenComment

Shirt (no longer being sold at Vans). Bralette. Leggings. White Converse. Black Converse. Sunglasses

Happy Monday! Today I'm wearing one of my new favorite looks. I honestly always forget that I have this shirt, and since I just got home from school and I've been unpacking, I've been finding tons of pieces I honestly forgot I had. It was the first time wearing it with my high-waisted leggings, and I really loved how it looked. Usually, I wear this top with a bandeau, but I really love how it looks with the bralette since the sleeves are so low.

As usual, I couldn't decide which color Converse to wear, so I just went with both, and wore my new sunglasses that I'm obsessed with. My makeup was relatively light, and I French braided one side of my hair into a half-up-half-down look, which I've been really liking lately, especially when I'm too lazy to wash my hair. I'm excited to wear this shirt more now that I've been reintroduced to it!
