Sorority Sunday

One half of my srat sign :P

Shirt. Leggings (similar). Sneakers. Sunglasses (mine are a bit lighter). Scrunchie

Like every sorority woman, I am obsessed with my sisters. However, I have the right to be extra obsessed since I am a founding member of my wonderful sorority, Xi Gamma Nu. Since I’ve been schoolsick lately, I decided that showing off my letters would be perfect for the easy day I had.

To preface: our colors are pool blue and lilac. Whenever I wear this shirt, I either wear my light purple scrunchie on my wrist or in my hair. I bought the scrunchie before I joined, and they just happened to match perfectly. I also wore my purple, blue, and purple/blue Pura Vidas.

As per lazy day etiquette, I wore my super comfy leggings and black Converse. I left my hair down and didn’t wear makeup. When you get made up every other day, sometimes you just need to take a break.

Even though I wish I had my amazing sisters here with me, this shirt was the closest thing I could get to them. Once school starts, more sratty looks will be coming your way!

Top (similar). Pants. Sunglasses (similar). Sandals (no longer being sold at Payless).

Remember last week when I said I wanted to have more fun with patterned pants? Well, I did that! I’m really loving today’s look. I felt like I was straight out of the sixties/seventies. And the best part was that I was super comfortable.

These pants were also brought to you by my cousin’s hand-me-downs, and I’m so happy they actually fit me. The fabric is insanely comfortable, and my ass looks amazing. I love how it hugs my upper half, but gets super wide at the bottom. I’m actually wearing these pants to bed too. I’m obsessed.

Since I didn’t want to wear a bralette out to dinner, I went with my favorite crop top. I really liked the contrast between the high neck and the low rise of the pants. Though I would have loved to go barefoot, I chose these sandals that I’ve had forever. I think nude sandals would have gone better with these, but I don’t have those right now. They would be a good investment.

I also loved the way my hair looked today. This is what happens when I let my hair air dry, brush it, then sleep with it in a bun. It gets super soft and curly. I kept my jewelry normal, but I didn’t wear a necklace because of the high neck. My Pura Vidas were black and blue and orange to match the pants.

My makeup was normal and natural. To top it all off, I wore my rounded sunglasses. How could I not with this?

Though I’m not sure how I can wear these pants in other ways, that’s what experimenting is for. Stay tuned!

Summer Blues

I had an amazing day today. I went to the city with my best friend and we talked about literally everything. I was really happy all day today, partly because of him, but also because of today’s look. I haven’t felt this hot in a long time, to be honest. I had something picked out last night, but when I put it on this morning, I just wasn’t feeling it. So, I pulled this together.

This shirt is another one of my cousin’s hand-me-downs that I absolutely love. It’s super soft and comfy but adorable! I chose to wear a crop top since it was super hot today and I was doing a lot of walking. I also wore my high waisted blue shorts since they looked really cute with the top. As always, I had the black vs. white Converse dilemma, and black just looked better.

A little risk I took today was with my hair, since I kept my hair, jewelry, and sunglasses normal. The other day, I saw a hot bartender wear her hair like this and I was inspired since it was hot and my hair was wavy. I really liked it, and I would love to wear my hair like this again! I wanna experiment with it curly, wavy, and straight. This actually did keep me a little bit cooler than just leaving my hair down would have. I think my hair really pulled the look together.

Though I had to dodge some wandering eyes today, I think this look was amazing. As I always say, if you feel good, you look good, and I definitely felt good showing off my body. I was comfortable in every way.

Matching Game

Shirt. Sunglasses (no clue I'm sorry). Sneakers. Shorts

Today, I got very matchy. I started off with my plain white T since I had to work earlier today. Thankfully, you can never go wrong with a plain white T, so I tucked it into my cute mint shorts that I haven’t worn in a while and called it a day!

f course, we had to get super matchy, so I wore my white Converse. I think it all came together in a really dweebily cute way.

But we couldn’t stop there! Am I supposed to have a pair of sunglasses that perfectly match my shorts and not wear them? They totally pulled the look together.

I kept my makeup normal as well as my jewelry. My hair is still messy, and I honestly love it just the way it is. I guess today’s look is a little boring, but there’s not a ton to say! I’ll let it speak for itself.

A Happy Accident

As I was going to bed last night, I put on my pajama pants and realized that I had created an adorable look. These pants are legit pants that my cousin gave me, but they’re too tight to wear in public. They squeeze my calves when I move. Perfect to sleep in though! They’re so comfy.

I want to wear more statement pants with crazy colors and patterns. She did give me a pair that actually fit me, so you guys may see those soon. For now though, I just loved how the dark colors of my pants looked with my lacey bralette. The pattern kinda looked lacey too.

This look is innocently seductive, which is the sort of thing I love. Maybe I could actually wear this out somewhere if I don’t need to do a ton of physical activity.

Like I said yesterday, I’m just dying to wear this bralette alone instead of under things. This was maybe that first step. I said I wanted to take more risks since starting this blog, so here I am!
