Send More Help

Outfit of the Day, StyleKristenComment

Hey y'all! Sorry for the lack of postage yesterday. I've come down with a terrible sinus infection and literally felt like I was gonna die. Never fear though, at least I looked cute while dying. I went to a birthday party, and since the guests were cool and quirky, I wanted to be cool and quirky too, with my little twist of course.

I started with my little black dress, because after all, it was a party. I wore it with my Cheer Spanx, of course! Then, I put my kimono over it so I wouldn’t look super dressy. I wore my white Converse to go with the triangles in the kimono, and a choker because I’m on a chocker kick. I topped things off with my Send Help hat because I’m literally obsessed with it and want to wear it everywhere.

My makeup was normal, but I used a new tool that I’ll be reviewing here soon! I’m VERY excited to share it with you all. I also kept my jewelry normal, and my hair was nice and straight. And short. Meh.

Overall though, I liked this look. Perhaps it wasn’t the best to wear in this heat, but I like looking cute.

Sorority Sunday!

KristenComment

Iiiiiiiiiiiit’s Sorority Sunday! Featuring a new addition to my Gamma Nu merch cru: my cute little Star Wars crop top. Fun fact for my readers who don’t know me in real life: I really love Star Wars. So, when Something Greek was having that sale, I totally needed to get this print. But when I got the T shirt, it honestly looked so yucky. I put it on and felt kinda messy. I don’t know what is was, but I fixed it! I cut off the bottom, making this into a cute little crop top!

As with most of my crop tops, I paired this cutie with my too small high waisted shorts and white Converse. But the fun doesn’t stop there! I got this “Send Help” hat from the Halsey concert last night, and I figured it added a cute and quirky vibe to this look. You’ll definitely be seeing more of this hat on The Clunkster.

I kept my jewelry normal, except I didn’t wear a necklace. And I didn’t wear makeup since I went for a facial this morning! Speaking of my salon visit, I also got a hair cut, which is why it looks super straight. She ended up cutting off a lot more than I wanted, but whatever. Hair grows. In my case, it grows really fucking quickly.

Also, I go back to school soon!!! So exciting! That means I will probably be posting less, but never fear: in the Fall, new looks are here!

Top (similar). Skirt (different color). Sneakers. Sunglasses (similar).

So, today was like one of the best nights of my life. I saw Halsey, one of my favorite singers ever, at Madison Square Garden. I’m exhausted, dehydrated, and I lost my voice, but here I am typing to you all about the outfit I wore, but I don’t mind, because it’s actually super cute.

It was really funny: I kind of looked like all the other girls there. Most of them wore denim shorts and crop tops with a choker. I think some of them felt the need to “dress” the part, but this is really my style. I love any excuse to wear my denim skirt. Last time I wore it, I tucked in my black tank. This time, I wore my black crop top with the cute cutouts. I loved how the skirt and top looked since the skirt was high waisted and the shirt was cropped. Me and my levels!

At first, I put on my black Converse. I had this dilemma last time I wore this skirt too. For some reason, white Converse just look way better with this skirt than black Converse do. I was gonna do my cute little mismatch thing, but I went with white instead. Another homemade choker made an appearance, this time from some black and white patterned pants. I thought the black and white looked cute with my top and shoes.

Makeup was normal, as well as the rest of my jewelry. My hair, however, took a scattered four hours to actually get straight. This mop has been so disgustingly wavy lately it’s not even funny. Thanks, humidity. Anyway, I really, I really loved this look.

Sometimes, I’m too tired to post. Even now, I’m super exhausted, but I decided to post anyway. After I start writing, I feel much better. I just need to push myself to do it!

Boring

Am I sniffing my armpit or showing off my bralette???

Shirt Thing (no longer being sold at Charlotte Russe). Leggings (similar). Sneakers. Bralette. Sunglasses (similar).

Today, I kept things nice and casual. I went out with one of my friends, so I wanted to be comfortable, but still look cute. I started with leggings, because I am always comfy in leggings, cropped because it was super super humid. Then, I wore my cute little cropped hoodie with low sleeve openings and paired it with my bralette.

I’ve worn something similar to this before, except I wore ankle-length leggings, my high-topped sneakers, and a bandeau instead of a bralette. I guess I like both looks equally! They’re cute in different ways.

My makeup was relatively normal and natural. My hair was super duper frizzy since it was humid anyway and I didn’t feel like doing anything to it. My jewelry was normal too.

This is a very boring post. I am sorry. But sometimes, I wake up and just put clothes on without some thought. Please enjoy these photos of my clothing.

Dark Times

KristenComment

Once again, I am seriously in love with today’s look. I played around with darker colors today, and I’m so happy with the way things turned out! This shirt is another hand-me-down from my cousin. I like it a lot! It’s barely a shirt; it’s more like an extra layer to wear, which is one of my favorite things. For most of the day, I wore the tank super low so you could kinda see my boobs and it was nice and ~cheeky~, but I pulled it up later in the day when my dad came home, and I also added a black flannel.

This top could have gone great with a bralette, but I knew it would look amazing with my bralette. It kept things cheeky, but the lace detail also looked amazing with the open back. Even though my bralette usually flattens my boobs a bit, the low neckline made up for it.

To match my bralette and the ~dark vibes~, I wore my black high waisted shorts. I didn’t even think of tucking this shirt in, but it

may look great another time. I kept up with the darkness with my black Converse and choker.

Fun fact about this choker: it’s actually the drawstring of my sweatpants! I hate them, so I pull them out, and I jokingly tied this around my neck and then realized that it was actually really adorable. It looks great just wrapped once, but here it’s wrapped three times around my neck and tied in a bow in the back. I would love to make it into an actual necklace.

Tank (no longer being sold at Urban Outfitters). Shorts. Bralette. Sneakers. Perfume. Lipstick. Sunglasses (similar).

I kept my makeup natural and normal. I would have loved to wear my darker lipstick, but I honestly didn’t have time to put it on this morning. I did put it in my flatlay though! Also, my hair was super disgusting and knotty. It matched the vibe for today, but no matter how many times I deny it, I seriously need a haircut. Dead hair and chlorine do NOT go well together, no matter how many times you wash your hair.

Going forward with the dark vibes, I went dark when I got my nails done today. They’re actually the same colors as my outfit: all of them are deep maroon, except for my ring fingers, which are black. I am so into these dark vibes.

Flannel (no longer being sold at Eddie Bauer).
